Description

This High-Protein Chicken Wrap is an easy, filling meal made with seasoned chicken, fresh vegetables, cheese, and a creamy Greek yogurt sauce. It’s quick to prepare and works well for lunch, dinner, meal prep, or a post-workout meal.

Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Wraps

  • 4 large whole wheat or high-protein tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced, optional

Greek Yogurt Sauce

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Season the chicken: Add the sliced chicken to a bowl and toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and lightly golden.
  • Make the sauce: Mix the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, honey, garlic powder, dill, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Prepare the tortillas: Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them easier to fold.
  • Build the wraps: Spread the yogurt sauce over each tortilla. Add lettuce, chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, cheese, and avocado if using.
  • Fold: Fold in the sides, then roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom to create a wrap.
  • Serve: Enjoy immediately, or lightly toast the wrap in a skillet for a warm, crisp finish.

Notes

Storage

For meal prep, store the cooked chicken and vegetables separately in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Assemble the wraps just before eating to keep the tortillas from becoming soggy.

Recipe Tips

  • Use leftover chicken to make these wraps even faster.
  • Don’t overfill the tortillas or they may be difficult to roll.
  • Add spinach, shredded carrots, bell peppers, or cabbage for more vegetables.
  • Swap cheddar for feta, mozzarella, or another cheese you enjoy.
  • Add hot sauce or chili flakes for a spicy version.
  • For extra protein, use high-protein tortillas and add more Greek yogurt sauce.
