Description

This Whipped Cottage Cheese Ranch Dip is creamy, tangy, and easy to make in just a few minutes. Blending cottage cheese gives the dip a smooth texture, while ranch seasoning adds plenty of classic flavor. Serve it with fresh vegetables, crackers, or chips for an easy high-protein snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk, if needed

Instructions

  • Add the cottage cheese: Place cottage cheese and Greek yogurt in a food processor or blender.
  • Add the seasonings: Add lemon juice, dill, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Blend until smooth: Blend for 1–2 minutes, scraping the sides as needed, until the dip is creamy and smooth.
  • Adjust the texture: Add a little milk if the dip is too thick, then blend again.
  • Add the chives: Stir in the fresh chives.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let the flavors come together.
  • Serve: Spoon into a bowl and serve with fresh vegetables, crackers, pretzels, or chips.

Notes

Storage

Store the dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Give it a quick stir before serving.

Recipe Tips

  • Use full-fat or low-fat cottage cheese depending on your preference.
  • Blend the cottage cheese well for the smoothest dip.
  • Add extra dill or chives for a stronger ranch flavor.
  • For a thicker dip, skip the milk.
  • Serve with cucumber, carrots, celery, bell peppers, or cherry tomatoes.
  • You can also use the dip as a spread for sandwiches and wraps.
